I first learned about Damien Hirst from a co worker of mine @ a screenprinting company a few years ago. he told me that the movie "The Cell" starring Jennifer Lopez took ideas from this guy. When i saw his stuff it reminded me of the classic movie "The Legend"

back in the day my childhood friend Marcus was a big card collector. he lived only 2 houses down from me. most of my other friends were into a lot of crazy things at such a young age but when i was around my boy marcus we did what normal 5th grade and 6th graders should do. Most kids from other blocks were coming to our street because all the activites that were going on. they even got into trading cards, and everyone start buying and bringing their card books.
